First I'd like to get a big thank you to those who participated in this event and made it a huge success. We had nothing but wonderful entries that made judging quite difficult. Several placings were determined by a matter of one or two points! I hope everyone had a great time and I wish you only the best luck in your future competitions.

Judging System
The Artist Comments of your entry image should include the horse, rider, show, and class. Additional images, stories, advertisements, previous placings, etc must be linked to be judged.Entry Image:
Effort - 20pts (in comparison to your own gallery)
Technique & Creativity - 25pts (in comparison to other entries)
Background - 10pts (Generic < Specific. Learn more about Blue Briar Manor's setting [here].)
Appropriate Tack and/or rider attire - 5pts
Location and weather conditions - 5pts ([Show Program])
Bonuses: Will boost your score but are absolutely not required to win.
Story - 15pts (1 point per 100 words up to 1,000; 0-5 points for quality)
Show Experience (Max of 5 points total)

Details
General
All equine breeds are welcome in every class. ((Unnatural breeds with special abilities (such as flight) may use them but will not gain any advantage over the competition. Gaited horses may show off their gaits where appropriate.))Any horse and rider team can compete as long as the horse has a reference.
Horses may not compete twice in the same class, with the exception of Pleasure Driving. (See event description for details.)
Events with too few entries may be combined for judging and prizes, while events with many entries may be split into two classes.
If a class has no entries, I may enter my own horses and judge them via RNG. These results will not impact the prizes or other results in any way.
Artwork
Entry images must show your horse competing during the event. Depicting faults and refusals will not count against your score.Collaborations are allowed on entry images. Click [here] for more info and please ask if you have questions!
Images should be exclusively for this show; they may not be entered into another show.
No tracing or pre-made linearts. Photo/Pre-made backgrounds must be credited.

Showmanship In-hand
Monday, Covered ArenaHandlers may show in English or Western attire. In this class, the handler is judged on how well he or she able to have the horse walk, trot, turn, and back up. [Info] [Video]
*Handler is encouraged to be present in the entry image, since they are being judged as much as their horse!
Previous show placings in any kind of in-hand work (ex. halter, in-hand trail, etc) will count towards the experience bonus. You may choose to use either your horse's experience or your handler's (but not both).

Monday, Arena #1Horses are shown at the walk, trot, and extended trot. For this competition, both two-wheeled carts and wagons are acceptable. Horses may be shown individually or in pairs. This is the only event a horse can enter twice, once individually and once as part of a team. (Class will be split by singles and pairs if enough entries are received.) [Pleasure Driving Info]

Hunter Over Fences
Horses and rider complete a course consisting of a series of obstacles that "simulate those found in the hunting field such as natural post and rail, brush, stone wall, white board fence or gate, chicken coop, aiken, hedge, oxer, etc". Emphasis is on the horse's form rather than completing difficult jumps.
Hunters Over Fences may compete individually (one in the ring at a time) or as a team. (Your team can include a leased horse or you can find another entrant interested in forming a team.)
